Common errors by yourself, from your Windows PC taskbar disappears

People may ask a question: my taskbar has disappeared completely. How do I get it back?

1. Check to find out your taskbar behind other open windows


If you cannot find your taskbar, do worry, first, close or minimize all windows opened on your desktop, to check if your taskbar is hiding behind your open windows or not.
2. Find your taskbar in other places of PC screen
If you still cannot find your taskbar after trying to close or minimize all open windows, it is supposed that your taskbar has been moved by accident. Please check if the taskbar is hanging out to the size or at the top of your desktop.
Do the following steps to bring your taskbar to the right place:
  • Click and drag your taskbar back to the bottom of your screen.
  • Right click the taskbar and open its Properties box by selecting Properties.
  • Select the Lock the taskbar option.
3. Make your taskbar thicker
As mentioned-above, the too thin taskbar is another reason for causing your taskbar disappeared. To avoid this, perform the following:
  • Close or minimum all open windows on your desktop. Look carefully all sizes of your PC screen to check if there is a thin strip, which may be your thin taskbar.
  • Move your mouse onto the thin strip. Your mouse will be changed into a double-sided arrow.
  • Thicken your taskbar by clicking and dragging your mouse toward the center of the PC screen.
  • Drag the thick taskbar back onto the bottom of your computer screen and lock it as mentioned in item 2 as above.
